Calligraphy Workshop

Let’s experience Japanese calligraphy together. Using a traditional brush and ink, we will practice writing Kanji (Chinese characters). Through each stroke, you can feel the balance of movement, breath, and intention. In the first half of the workshop, we focus on basic brush techniques and foundational strokes. In the second half, you will write on washi (traditional Japanese rice paper) and add a special red stamps to complete your piece. You can take your artwork home and display or decorate with it. If you have specific words in mind, I will be happy to help you write them. Translation and guidance are provided, and no experience is necessary. All materials are included.
