When you sign up for a class or workshop or attend a function at our property, you agree to the terms and conditions stated herein. You do hereby release FRIENDS & FAIRE or any person or persons acting on its behalf from liability for any bodily injuries sustained, or for loss or damage of any personal articles while on the premises or while participating in any activity sponsored by FRIENDS & FAIRE. Furthermore, the undersigned agrees that in the event that medical attention is required due to accident or illness, FRIENDS & FAIRE shall, without accepting fiscal responsibility, seek such medical services as it deems necessary and appropriate through emergency/911 and/or the local hospital.
FRIENDS & FAIRE reserves the right to cancel any class if attendance is low or any unforeseen instructor conflicts occur. If a class is canceled a full refund will be issued. Refunds will NOT be given for attended workshops or merchandise made by customers in the store such as stamped stationery, essential oil products, beaded bracelets, plant arrangements and/or any other featured DIY crafts.
Due to many of our workshops having customized stencils made (wood sign and canvas stencil projects) and because we require reserved seating in our workshop spaces, we do not offer refunds. You are welcomed to transfer to a future class as outlined by the following guidelines:
3 Days In-advance Notice: Please give us a minimum of 72 hours advance notice if you or your group are unable to attend your reserved workshop session to avoid any fees. We will be able to reschedule you for any identical future class or credit the amount paid towards a different workshop offered within the following 30 days.
Late Notice Cancellation (less than 3 Days): Any notice given LESS THAN 72 hours prior to a class will be subject to a transfer fee in order to be transferred to a future class (original project and/or design for wood sign or canvas stencil workshops).
Late Arrivals: Due to the time needed to complete each project, we ask that you please arrive 5 minutes early so that we can begin our workshops on time. Last-minute registrants and late arrivals and may be asked to reschedule. If taking a wood sign or canvas stencil workshop, you may be subject to an additional stencil cut/re-cut fee(s) and/or may not be able to choose a customized design.
"No-Show" Attendees: Any guest that is a “No-Show” for their reserved workshop session will forfeit the missed session and will need to pay to re-register. Arriving 30 minutes late to class will count as a no-show.
I hereby allow FRIENDS & FAIRE to take photographs of me or my enrolled child/children to be used for promotional and archival purposes only. If you wish to opt out, please make the instructor aware of that prior to the start of class.
MERCHANDISE RETURN POLICY
If you are not satisfied with any in-store purchases, return it in the same condition received with original packaging within 15 days of purchase with a receipt and we will exchange your item or issue a store credit.
When booking a private event a deposit is required. Your deposit will be refunded at the time of class, once the minimum number of participants is met (10). If you are unable to meet the minimum, the deposit will be forfeited. If you choose to cancel your private party, the deposit will not be refunded due to the nature of our workshops and calendar scheduling.
For private events, we require all attendees to register and provide complete personalization info for their project (if applicable) at least 72 hours in advance so we can prepare the materials for your workshop ahead of time.
