Ceramic Heart Dishes || $48

Join us at Friends & Faire and learn how to make your own ceramic heart-shaped dishes with Selwyn Ceramics! In this workshop, you will start with a slab of clay, then use texture, embellishments, and underglazes to make 3 one-of-a-kind dishes that you can keep for yourself or gift to your loved ones for Valentine's Day. After class, Jen will take these home to fire in her kiln. This will take approximately a week.

Instructor bio: Getting messy and playing with mud has always been part of Jennifer Selwyn's DNA, and at age 5 she knew she wanted to be an artist. It was not a surprise to anyone that Jen went to college to be an artist-teacher, and college is where she first fell in love with clay. Years later, Jennifer was reintroduced to pottery, and about 17 years ago she started selling her work at shows and galleries.…
