Happy Little Succulent Pots || $55

Come join us at Friends & Faire and learn how to make your own mini succulent pots with Selwyn Ceramics! Start from a ball of clay to create cute little pots to share with friends or keep for yourself as they make really great gifts! This is a two part class (no experience needed): In the first class, you will make your pots (usually 3-5 pots depending on size and time). In the second class, you will glaze your pots to be later fired at the instructor's home studio.  Your finished products will be available for pick up at F&F when they are done.

Instructor bio: Getting messy and playing with mud has always been part of Jennifer Selwyn's DNA, and at age 5 she knew she wanted to be an artist. It was not a surprise to anyone that Jen went to college to be an artist teacher, and college is where she first fell in love with clay. Years later, Jennifer was reintroduced to pottery, and about 17 years ago she started selling her work at shows and galleries. Selwyn's work is inspired by her surroundings and she likes to say "Inspired by Nature, handmade with Aloha".  Jennifer still loves teaching and meeting new people, so she is excited to team up with F&F to do some fun workshops.

All materials are included and the class will be held at Friends & Faire at 1980 Main st. #4 Wailuku, HI 96793 (Behind Native Intelligence- free parking available).  BYO beer or wine to sip on and enjoy while you get creative! (21 and over).
