Stamps & Stitches: An Upcycled Clothing Workshop || $55

Join us for a morning of creative clothing upcycling! In this workshop you will get to decorate a few clothing items with block printing, sewing on patches, and simple embroidered embellishments to create wearable art that is completely your own!

We'll start our class by learning how to block print with a few pre-made hand carved stamps. From there, you can choose to stamp directly onto clothing items, or onto blank fabric swatches to create your own patches. Participants are encouraged to bring their own clothing items from home, but we will also have a bin of thrifted clothes on hand in case anyone forgets. As the class goes on, we will practice a few simple embroidery techniques and use them to sew on our patches, as well as to add colorful embellishments to our pieces.
