This printed tote bag workshop is an introductory class where you’ll learn the basics of carving your own stamp and printing it as a pattern on fabric. In this workshop we will go through the entire process of designing, carving, and printing from start to finish. Participants will receive guided instruction throughout the project and will leave the workshop with their own carved block and a finished canvas tote bag and coin purse.

Instructor's Bio: Aloha! I’m Alexis, the maker behind East Wind Print Co. I specialize in relief printmaking inspired by my love of the natural world. Everything I create is handmade with love and a portion of my proceeds give back to conservation efforts here on Maui.

All materials are included and class will be held at Friends & Faire at 1980 Main st. #4 Wailuku, HI 96793 (Behind Native Intelligence- free parking available).  BYO beer or wine to sip on and enjoy while you get creative! (21 and over)
